Central Leisure:

Plans for a new state-of-the-art swimming pool and sports complex for Rochdale are now starting to take shape to open in 2012.The new leisure facility will be built adjacent to the existing facility on Entwisle Road, and will include a 25-metre swimming pool, changing village, gym, sports hall, and community facilities. The centre will replace the existing ‘Central Leisure’ facility which was built in the 1930s and is now outdated in terms of design and layout of the facilities.
